Centralize Tool and Controller Management with ToolsControl from Atlas Copco
Atlas Copco’s ToolsControl is a server-based solution that centralizes tightening tool controller management and eliminates dedicated hardware controllers on your factory floor.
At the heart of ToolsControl is a cluster of servers running virtual controllers on different nodes, offering self-healing and failover. Literally hundreds of tools can be centrally managed remotely or via a local, browser-based PC.
Atlas Copco patented the Single IP solution that assigns the same IP address to every tool in use, even the back-up tools and accessories. (Tools are still identifiable by the ‘packetized’ serial number.) When a tool fails or needs swapping, a replacement can be assigned in seconds. There is no faster way to swap tools.
Similarly, controller server nodes automatically reconfigure in seconds, shifting tool configurations to other nodes with Failover, when needed.
Together ToolsControl with Single IP ensure minimal production interruptions and maximum efficiencies in productivity and capital investment.
